Since its earliest days, our church has supported missionary projects abroad and service projects locally. Our involvement in community projects that are near and dear to our hearts was challenging during COVID, but we see a light at the end of the tunnel and we hope to return to a full slate of involvement in the near future. Below is a sample of our activities.

At Home:

  • Pacem in Terris' Traveling Peace Youth Art Exhibit

Pacem in Terris' 2024–2025 Traveling Peace Youth Art exhibitions will soon appear in public spaces across Delaware. A jury of local artists chose 75 works from January's spectacular exhibit of 600 pieces at the Wilmington Library.

  • Meals on Wheels

Through the Meals on Wheels program, our volunteers deliver lunch and dinner to homebound adults in our community one week a month.

  • Friendship House

We collect school uniform articles of clothing for Friendship House's annual drive, and we contribute financially to their programs that help people facing homelessness.

  • Emmanuel Dining Room

We prepare and help serve lunch to the homeless at Emmanuel Dining Room once a month.

  • Urban Promise

We contribute financially to Urban Promise, a program for youth in Wilmington that equips them with the skills necessary for academic achievement, life management, personal growth and servant leadership.

  • Latin American Community Center

We contribute financially to the Center to help empower the Latino Community through their education, advocacy, and partnerships programs.

  • CHILD, Inc.

In 2023, we are sponsoring a "Holiday Toy Drive" to collect toys and gift cards for the children and youth served by Child, Inc.

  • Claymont Community Center

In addition to weekly donations of food and hygiene products to the Center's Food Closet, we contribute financially to the Claymont Community Center, whose mission is to address their community's human needs of wellness, belongingness, and esteem.

  • Delaware Interfaith Power and Light

We contribute financially to support DeIPL's work with faith communities to provide a religious response to the causes and impacts of climate change.

  • New Castle County Hope Center

We contribute financially to support this life-changing hub of vital resources and social support for those experiencing homelessness.

  • Family Promise of Northern New Castle County

We contribute financially to help Family Promise end homelessness for families by engaging volunteers, donors, and the faith community.

  • Interfaith Community Housing of Delaware

We contribute financially to ICHDE, which supports residents in communities to maintain the appearance, safety, and quality of life of their neighborhoods and helps educate and empower residents to take charge of their finances and become more confident homeowners.

International relief organizations we support with financial contributions annually include:

  • Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders, which offers emergency aid to countries who experience crises such as devastating hurricanes and malaria season.

  • Palestine Children’s Relief Fund
